MAC Cranberry Dupe - NYX Rust

Hiya guys!
I think I'm on a dupe finding roll recently! Right now as a student, I can't justify spending tons of money on eyeshadows, so as usual, I try to find the best dupes for each of the "high end" eyeshadows I like.

This time it was MAC's Cranberry which caught my eye, I've been into putting on red tone eyeshadows and this seemed to fit the bill. The problem: The Price.
Now I believe I have found the PERFECT dupe for Cranberry from non other than good old trusty NYX.

Left: NYX Rust - Right: MAC Cranberry
I think that the pigmentation of both these eyeshadows is the same. I find that rust has a more lustrous finish while Cranberry is a little more subdued. I think both are equally beautiful however Rust will have to win because it is a third of the price of Cranberry.

Dupe for Blackheart by Urban decay Naked 3 Palette

Hey guys, I know it's been a while since I posted but I've got something exciting to share with you (at least it is exciting to me). Now while looking at the new Naked 3 Palette, the range of beautiful rose tone shades did look very lovely, but out of all the colours, I would say that 'Blackheart' would be the colour that is most enchanting out of the palette and also my favourite. Now at around £37 for the Naked 3 palette, this "enchantment" is rather pricey. Needless to say, my hunt for the perfect dupe started.

Earlier today while looking for some new eyeshadows, I stumbled across a particular shade at NYX that automatically caught my eye.
In the shade of 'Sensual' by NYX, I think I have found a great dupe for blackheart. Obviously they are not the same however side by side they look very similar.

Blackheart - Urban Decay Naked 3
I would say that Blackheart has a slightly more copper/bronze undertone while Sensual is more towards the pink side. Sensual unfortunately doesn't leave the faded colour around the edge either, nevertheless it's a great dupe for those of you who are not enticed by the whole naked 3 palette.

Angels On Bare Skin (AOBS) Review!

Hey guys!
Since I have just finished my second tub on AOBS, I thought it was a good time to put a review about this product. Now a little background on my skin, I have oily to combination skin which is extremely oily around my T zone and pretty normal around my cheeks. My skin is extremely acne prone and has left me at A constant battle between treating acne and trying to fade scars.
I got advise from a kind gentleman in the Lush store in my hometown and told him of my problems and he recommended AOBS.
This product's claim:"Angels on Bare Skin evens out skin tone, reduces redness and improves the health and appearance of your skin – giving a natural healthy glow"

A tub of AOBS typically lasts me 3 months, with me using a generous Pea-sized amount, softened with a little water into a paste and then scrubbed on my face. Saying "Scrubbed" seems quite a harsh word to use when dealing with your skin and I have to say that although this product is actually a very gentle exfoliator, but you wouldn't want to massage this on your face for too long or you could be left sore because there are bits of lavender in there. It just needs about a minute of circular cleansing and rinsing with lukewarm water and you're good to go.

On the first try of this product, I must say I did notice an immediate difference. My skin was much softer, smoother, supple and it felt cleansed without the dry tight feeling. However, as the weeks went by, I felt that it did nothing for me other than keeping my skin moisturised. I did not notice any difference in my hyperpigmentation and redness around my nose. I am still suffering from acne which I have now received prescribed acne treatment for ( More on that another time ).
All in all I think this is a good product for those who need a radiance boost to their skin. I wouldn't recommend this for people who are trying to even out their skintone and get rid of acne. A word of caution about the fresh Lush products, I used this product for a week after the use by date without realising and I was left with a nettle type rash for 3 days.
I have heard of people being more oily when using this product but luckily it didn't happen to me.

Pros:

Makes skin radiant and moisturised
It is mildly exfoliating enough for everyday use

Cons:
Doesn't even out skintone
Doesn't help with hyperpigmentation/Acne
Doesn't control oil production
